( Hello My Lovers and Dreamers! )

I’m so happy you’re here and welcome to my little shop called C.Bell! It’s actually named after me, Carmela Bello. My name comes from my late grandmother, Carmela, who lived her short life creating clothing and selling them in little pueblitos back in Mexico. She passed away due to cancer when my mother was a teenager. Creating this shop was my own way of keeping her legacy alive. So, this isn’t just my dream but it’s also been my mother’s and my grandmother’s. With the support of my hardworking parents, I have been able to make this dream a reality. At the moment, my pieces are from wholesale and manufacturers only. Hopefully, one day soon I will be able to curate my own pieces of clothing with inspiration from my mother and grandmother.

The intention behind this store and the clothing is for you to feel comfortable and beautiful. Your bodies are breathtaking in every shape and form. They are the most incredible, amazing thing you will all ever own and there isn’t any other like it. You are all one of a kind. Take pictures of yourselves and learn to love how you look. A lot of people tell me that they look bad in photos but guys so does the moon. And guess what? She’s gorgeous. So be open to influence those around you and maybe they’ll see you and feel they could do it too.

I suppose I have to write a little bit about myself, so here it goes. My name is Carmela, obviously. I am a first generation Mexican-American Latina who has received her Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. I come from a very hardworking family who migrated to the United States two years before I was born. My family has struggled a lot and worked late hours to get to where we are now. I have had my own struggles where I have been undervalued, misrepresented, judged, and discriminated. So, I want to be a voice for my fellow Latinos and people of color and let them know that they can also reach their dreams. I believe that representation matters and if we can come together we can make a change in the way others see us.

I want to remind all of you that if you can see it in your dreams and you can feel it in your heart, you can bring it into your reality. You have a good heart and pure intentions. Things will always end up working out for us. I believe in us. I believe in all of you.
